Issue #4
Hello, and welcome to Issue #4
In this Issue, I hope to show you some more pokemon things, and hopefully it will be the best issue yet !
Notice the Christmas colour changes !
I have added some Miniclip Christmas Games. However, it is just a trial and they will be gone soon.
Pokemon Battle Revolution is nearly out ! Sadly, I'm more busy with the website than ever, so my team is still not ready.
POTW
Suicune ![]()
Suicune is a really good pokemon with great stats and great moves. It is very useful as an defensive and offensive force. However, in this generation of games, Cresselia can do the same. Although this is partly true, Cresselia doesn't have enough sp.attack to pull off the stratergy so well. Slobro can also play this role pretty well, but not as well as Cresselia and Suicune, so it isn't used that much.
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl
Moveset
Item: Leftovers
Calm Mind
Rest
Surf
Ice Beam/Substitute/Hidden Power (use one that suits your team)/Sleep Talk/Roar
This set is pretty obvius, but it is still very powerful. Substitute first (if you chose it), then Calm Mind until you have maxed out your sp.defence and sp.attack, finally, you can sweep with surf and a second special move if you include one. Roar is going to become very popular now, with Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock as well as normal spikes, and Sleep Talk is useful for frustrating your opponent and forcing them to switch, especially if they are using a pokemon like Hippowdon, which is weak to surf, but can come in and decimate Suicune (if Suicune is under a status like Thunder Wave) if Suicune cannot heal and do damage at the same time.
To vote for the next, Christmas pokemon of the week, well just vote !
MOTW (this week, it is moves of the week)
Grass Knot & Low Kick
You may be wondering why I have two moves in the pokemon of the week section. Well, the reason is that they both do the same thing, just that one is a fighting type move and the other is a grass type move and that one is physical and one is special. The reason why I have decided to make them MOTW is that they do more damage to heavier foes. This means that Grass Knot is amazing at disposing of Rhyperiors, one, because of Rhyperior's low sp.defence, two, because Rhyperior is so heavy that grass knot does 120 base damage to it, and three, because Rhyperior is 4x weak to grass type moves. Low kick is the same, it is great for dealing with Snorlaxes.
